Report On Our Trip To Australia

   On Friday, 1 July 2011, the Innovative Beings Group went on a trip to Victoria, Australia. We went to Australia to visit the beautiful country which has always been a dream of ours. We went to many places such as Melbourne City, Mornington Peninsula, Philip Island Nature Park, The Great Ocean Road, the Grampians and the Goldfields in Sovereign Hill, Ballarat.

Friday,1July 2011

     Our day started as early as 6.30 am in Malaysia. We hurried to the Kuala Lumpur International Airport (KLIA) bringing our luggage and personal belongings. We boarded the AirAsia plane.While in the plane we looked outside the mini window,the view caught our breath as we have never seen the Earth high above 10000 feet above the ground.We arrived in Australia about 4.30 am in the morning.The plane ride drained our energy,we were so exhausted. 

Saturday, 2 July 2011 

      The next day,we had breakfast and went to Melbourne City.While in Melbourne we saw so many buildings that rise high above the ground.It was amazing.It showed us how modern and developed Australia is.Later on we went for some shopping and brought some things.


Sunday,3 July 2011

      About 12.00 pm in the afternoon we went to Philip Island Nature Park.There,we saw lots of people from around the world gathered here in this nature park to see the wonderful mysteries of nature.We had fun seeing the penguin parade even though it took us a while to wait.Also,we got a chance to see the Koalas even though all they do is sleep.We then went back to the resort about 6.30 pm.


Monday,4 July 2011

       The next day we went to Mornington Peninsula. It was fun.We had a swim with the dolphins and we had a stroll near the beaches of the historic seaside village of Sorrento.Later on, we went on a cliff-top walk and saw stunning views.


Tuesday,5 July 2011

       On Tuesday,we went to see the Great Ocean Road.It was a whole new experiences that we got to see the largest animal in the world in front of our very own eyes.The whale took our breath away, it was amazing to see it.After we had a look at the whale,we then went to the Grampians in Victoria 235 kilometers west of Melbourne. We went bush walking to see the outstanding natural beauty and watch the sunset dissapear from the tips of the mountain.


Wednesday,6 July 2011
      On Wednesday,we went to Sovereign Hill,Ballarat.We experienced the hustle and bustle of life in Ballarat in the 1850s at Sovereign Hill,one oh Victoria's mot popular tourist attraction.It is a re-creation of Ballarat at the time of the gold rush.We rode on horse carriages around the place and went underground on a tour of the Red Hill Mine.We also got to experiences life as it was last century  through a stroll around the shops.

        Thursday,7 July 2011 we packed our bag and got ready to leave Australia.We arrived at the airport and boarded the plane.On the way to Malaysia we thought of the great memories we had in Australia.It was an unforgettable experiences,because we have never been to other countries before.We arrived in Malaysia the next day on Friday,8 July 2011.
